1. Who Can Use Wantify

  1. Only teens 13 and older can use the app.
  2. Parents/guardians and other family members can guide or supervise if they want — optional.
  3. If you’re under 13, do not create an account.

2. What We Collect

We only collect the info needed to make the app work:

  • Account info: email, phone, nickname, avatar.
  • Tasks & progress: what you do, badges, Cred Score.
  • Optional integrations: completion of learning tasks (like Duolingo or Khan Academy) if you opt in.
  • Technical info: device type, browser, IP address (for security).

We never sell your personal info.

3. How We Keep You Safe

  • Accounts are password-protected.
  • We use encryption and secure hosting to protect data.
  • Parents can see or request teen account info if needed.
  • Teens’ real names, phone numbers, and payment info are not public.
  • Optional blockchain badges are safe and cannot be traded or spent.

4. Rewards, Tasks, and Agreements

  • Complete tasks to earn rewards, Cred Score, badges, or bonus Side Quests.
  • Teens propose tasks to earn items; parents can approve or suggest changes.
  • Purchase of items is managed directly by parents outside of the Wantify platform.
  • Always complete tasks honestly — that’s how Wantify works best!

5. Your Choices

  • You can delete your account anytime.
  • You control what info you share and with optional integrations.
  • Parents and teens can review progress and adjust privacy settings.

6. How We Use Your Info

  • To run the app and track tasks.
  • To improve the app and provide a safe experience.
  • To show badges, rewards, and gamified progress.

Never for selling personal information.

7. Be Respectful

  • Complete all tasks and report honestly.
  • Respect other users.
  • Don’t cheat, post inappropriate content, or break the rules.

Welcome to Wantify, a gamified family app that helps teens learn responsibility, life skills, and financial literacy by earning the things they want through parent-approved agreements.

This Privacy Policy explains how Wantify (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, protects, and shares your personal information when you use our platform, including our progressive web app at https://app.wantify.com (the “App”) and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

We take your privacy seriously — especially when it comes to families and minors — and we are committed to maintaining a safe, transparent, and educational environment.

Wantify is an educational technology platform designed for families. Teens can request items and complete parent-approved tasks to earn them, while parents can manage, track, and approve activity.

We collect limited information necessary to provide and improve the Wantify experience.

A. Information You Provide

Parents and Guardians may provide:

  • Account information (name, email, password, phone, profile image)
  • Teen’s profile name or nickname
  • Group names manually added that may include other family members and their individual contact information (name, email, phone), and a group nickname.
  • Item and task preferences
  • Communications with us

Teens may provide:

  • Account information (name, email, password, phone, nickname or avatar name, profile image)
  • Requests to parents for purchase proposals for specific items they desire to pay off through chores or tasks and their task progress.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device type and browser
  • IP address (for security and regional compliance)
  • Usage data (such as completed tasks, time spent, progress metrics)
  • Cookies and local storage data to remember login and preferences

C. Optional Integrations

If you connect optional features — like educational task integrations or affiliate purchases — we may receive related activity data from partners (e.g., a completed Duolingo challenge or Amazon item ID).

We do not share personal user data with those third parties without consent.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage accounts
  • Enable and track agreements and task progress
  • Personalize the user experience (avatars, rewards, Cred Score, etc.)
  • Provide customer support
  • Analyze app performance and usage trends
